The Restricted Occupational Scuba Supervisor Program is an intensive course of study, both academic and practical, designed to train certified Restricted Occupational Scuba Divers to work safely and effectively in a ‘Supervisory Position’ in a variety of commercial diving fields managing occupational scuba divers that hold Restricted Occupational Scuba ratings.
The Aim of the Training is to create a professional supervisor capable of working safely and effectively in various occupational environments and working capacities in accordance with the Canadian Standards Association CSA Z275.5 Competency Standards for Training. This program has significant modules over viewing dive planning, hazard and assessment reviews, provincial & national standards review, dive accident management, equipment audit programs, environmental management programs and human resource management.
The Occupational Restricted Supervisor Course is conducted over 4 days of training. Graduates of this course will receive a Diver Certification Board of Canada (DCBC) certification as a Restricted Occupational Scuba Supervisor.
